Greenway Interpretive Signage Installed

The Perry South Greenway at Harlan Avenue near N. Charles Street was completed with the installation of interpretive signage in June 2024. The community voted on important historical places, people, and assets, to memorialize on the interpretive signs that were installed along the walking trail in the hillside directly across from Cross Strauss Parklet. With the addition of this fun and educational signage, perennial shrubs, flowering plants (planted in October 2023 by residential stewards), and seating area along the walking trail, this section of the Perry South Greenway has been transformed into a tranquil place to commune with nature in the Charles Street Valley.
