Spearheaded by our devoted President & Executive Director, Angela Williams, our Board of Directors governs the non-profit arm of CSAC, the Charles Street Area Corporation. The Board works diligently to plan and implement projects, events, and partnerships that benefit the Charles Street Valley.

Angela Williams
President & Executive Director

A CSV resident since 1989, Angela has served as President of CSAC since 2016. She holds Master's degrees in Business Administration and Corporate Communication from Duquesne. She has been honored for Community Leadership (2019) by State Rep. Jake Wheatley, Jr. and Northside Leadership Conference in 2012.

Ericka Wingfield
Vice President

Ericka purchased a new affordable home in the Charles Street Valley in 2002 as a part of the CSV community revitalization plan. She has been a youth and community advocate for close to 30 years. She holds a Master’s degree from Duquesne University in Community Leadership, and has been honored for her leadership abilities.

Dr. ARchish Maharaja
Board Treasurer

Archish Maharaja, Ed.D. is a professor at Point Park University. He serves as the Director of Graduate Programs and Director of Health Care Administration & Management. Archish is highly experienced and accomplished in finance and management and is passionate about helping others succeed.

Rebecca McDonough
Board Secretary
Rebecca is the Manager of the Office of Research and Evaluation at Homewood Children’s Village. Informed by her experience in data analysis, youth development, and intergenerational research, Rebecca is interested in designing community-affirming systems for creativity and consensus gathering.
La Rita Alston
Board member

La Rita is a life-long resident of CSV. She attended local colleges in Pennsylvania, and was employed by Community College of Allegheny County for many years. She is a member of the Board Governance committee, and is committed to neighborhood safety initiatives and community revitalization.

Shalace Moore
BOARD MEMBER

Shalace is a life-long resident of the Northside, and a current resident of CSV. She obtained her Master's degree from Chatham University in Counseling Psychology in April 2022. She advocates for collective healing through mental health awareness, reducing stigma around addiction, and promoting self-efficacy.

Amy Cotten
BOARD MEMBER

Amy is a life-long Northside resident and a CSAC board member since 2020. She is committed to community rebuilding, developing safe youth enrichment centers, and neighborhood safety for all residents. She graduated from CCAC and Carlow University, and works for CCAC as a Biology Educational Technician.

Quincy Swatson
Board Member

Quincy is a life-long Northsider. He focuses on Inclusion, Diversity, Equity & Accessibility work in both his role in the Equity Office for Pittsburgh Public Schools and as the Managing Principal at Chisholm Consulting Group. He has two sons, Quincy Jr. and Elijah.

Our Board of Directors is made up of Charles Street Valley residents, community stakeholders, and outside partners who are committed to sharing their time and talents to further our mission of empowering residents, providing resources, and revitalizing the community.
