About CSAC

Who We Are

The Charles Street Area Corporation (CSAC) is a non-profit community organization working to achieve a better quality of life in the Charles Street Valley (CSV) area. We meet with leaders from around the city to bring in resources, collaboratively plan the development of our neighborhood, collect feedback from residents and stakeholders, and participate in events and volunteer opportunities year-round.

What We Do

We aim to develop accessible community assets and build generational wealth in the CSV. In alignment with strategic priorities, our projects are designed to reduce the plight of low- and moderate-income families and improve the physical environment in the Charles Street Valley.

We connect residents and stakeholders to educational opportunities and resources, create affordable housing opportunities, maintain vacant lots, decrease trash and litter, and advocate for solutions with the City of Pittsburgh and other partners.

Get Involved

From block parties and trash clean-ups to community meetings and focus groups, CSAC values opportunities to bring our neighbors together. Get to know us at an event!
